Anyone seeking admission to St. Xavier's School has to fulfill the necessary conditions for admission into any class as per school rules, which may change time to time. The application for the admission should be made on the prescribed form available with this prospectus. For availing hostel or bus services a separate form is given on request. The minimum age for admission in play group (nursery) is 3 years and in class 1 is 6 years and so on as in higher classes. The age is calculated as on 1st April for admission. A concession of six months on either side may be given. Valid proof of age is required at time of registration. The Birth Certificate (original) duly signed by the competent authority will be accepted as a proof of age for nursery and class 1, and for other classes, a valid certificate signed by the principal of a Govt.recognized school only will be accepted.

The school offers bus facility for the students coming from distant places. There is separate fee to avail the bus services. Accommodation in the school transport is limited and has to be applied for in advance, on a prescribed form. Admission to the school does not mean allocation of a seat in the school bus. Parents are urged to refrain from making requests for change of routes, diversion, additional stoppage and reallocation stopage.
